So far I am incredibly impressed with this formula. I am 40 years old and grew up in the Southern California sun. Add to that hormones and you’ve got freckles, melasma, hyperpigmentation and still occasional adult acne. I have literally used everything but for whatever reason got sucked into an Instagram ad and here we are. I’ve been using this for about a month. The first week I thought I detected a change but I was skeptical. By week 2 I was wearing less makeup, waking up looking refreshed and seeing less breakouts too. By week 3 the change is undeniable. I’ve had a large patch of melasma on my cheek for years which all of a sudden is almost completely gone. Not only are freckles and pigmentation breaking up and disappearing, but I seem to be getting some anti- wrinkling and brightening benefits too. I know hydroquinone should be used sparingly so I’ll look to see if I can switch over to their other product without it soon, but this one will really impress you! It’s a keeper!

I am so surprised at how much I like this moisturizer. I worked in derm for way too many years, but this was several years ago now. I used this product when it was endorsed by my friend, along with tons of other OTC and high-end products. I was running out of my Tatcha AND my Josie Maran Milk serum at the same time and didn't want to spend the money to repurchase. I had tried Neutrogena Hydro Boost, which wasn't bad - ok for daytime use during the summer, I just wanted something more. So I decided to try this nightly color corrector. There's no scent - good or bad - it's just there. Great texture. It gets absorbed but you still know you put it on, but not obnoxiously there. Does that make sense? I hate the moisturizers that you put on, then you have no idea where they went five minutes later. Why bother?

Anyway... I've had no reaction, no irritation and I've been doing all sorts of harsh stuff in an attempt to rid myself of some melasma. Differin, Exuviance Peels, Cerave Resurfacing Serum, and this moisturizer keeps my skin in check! I'm not sure I'll go back to the high-end stuff.

Side note: if you're using this in the am under makeup you still need sunscreen and you'll need to allow some time between applying this and makeup.

***UPDATE June 2022*** I have now purchased this five times. I still use this regularly and love it.

First of all let's talk about the packaging, big thumbs up! The instructions are also straight to the point and they are both on the packaging and on the jar itself. Once you take the jar out I'm not gonna lie it looks kind of small compared to what it looks like in the package. But once you apply you will see that a little goes a long way and that the product itself will probably last you a good while. As for the jar, it is very high-end. Just makes everything cleaner in my opinion. I loved that.

Now for the application, it says to apply a thin layer on a dry clean face and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes then remove with water. Pretty simple right.

Once I was done applying the cream to my face I started to feel like a tingling, almost like a burning sensation and I was like oh great I don't think I can do this. But I stuck through it and eventually it did go away. Also right away I started to feel it hardening like getting tight on my face which basically let me know it was working.

Once it was off I looked at my face in the mirror and it looked super clean and smooth! I touched it and it felt smooth, like soft even! I was in love! (Also it did leave my face feeling matte so in my opinion this probably wouldn't be good for people with dry skin.)

This stuff is great! Makes my skin feel soft and smooth. Takes away all the acne scars, and leaves my face refreshed and glowing. I love it, so far I've been using it twice a week. Doesn't take much to cover my face.

I bought this product a little while ago and make sure to always wear it once every two weeks after taking a shower and it honestly has made a difference on my skin. It has taken some blackhead or anything bumpy on the surface of my skin, & dead skin off. It does not leave my skin irritated, on the contrary, it leaves it smooth and is quite easy to peel off.

I have acne-prone skin and I didn't break out while using this product so I recommend it if you are acne-prone skin and are scared of using this product due to breakouts because it didn't cause me to break out.

The package for it looks small, but you do get a lot of product and a little bit of the mask goes a long way on your face. The application of it is great. Not messy at all, smooths on your face very easily.

I have combination skin, an extremely greasy nose, very dry cheeks, and acne scars all over my face. I have noticed a huge difference in my skin. I will say it does help with my oiliness and those acne scars are fading, Great stuff. At 35 years old I love it and will continue to use it.

This is like magic. Honestly one of the biggest staples of my skincare routine, and I never leave without it. The most effective spot treatment that I've used so far is gentle on my skin. Granted, I don't have very sensitive skin, but my roommate uses this as well, and she has no problems. The tube also lasts quite a while with consistent use, so a little goes a long way.

I started to struggle with acne around my mouth from masks, and this helps to keep it down, as I also use it to cover a few larger spots just in precaution and to keep the acne down. It is a spot treatment, however, so this may not be a good idea for people with sensitive skin. I continue to buy this product again and again and my skin thanks me for it!

Notes: My acne is on the hormonal cystic side and by the use of benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid I keep it at bay. My skin type is normal to combination oily, but not very oily as long as I use moisturizer throughout the day. The treatment does work in twenty-four hours to work on your acne, but for the stubborn stuff, it will still take a while. This just helps with getting it through the process and to ahead faster.

I originally bought my wife a smaller size of this product. She loved it so much she asked me to post her review-- "This product has made my skin look so fresh! I use it every day and I can say that the product is working because my skin is now healthier-looking and more toned. I never had a huge amount of acne but my Dark spots have almost disappeared altogether.

I love that it has vitamins C and Hydroquinone. It's the best thing for your skin. Maybe that's why this cream is different from other vitamin C creams I’ve tried. It feels rich and luxurious when you apply it but it also absorbs fast so it doesn't take a lot of time putting it on, whether in the morning before I go to work or at night before I go to bed. I have very sensitive skin and this causes me no problems at all but makes my skin feel and look brighter and tighter and my face feels so much smoother. Plus, since it’s made with the correct ingredients that my skin really needs, I feel safer using it." Now I bought her the larger size and she still gets the same results from the product but at a much lower cost. The dark sunspots on her face have gone away and her color looks the same all over her face now!

I bought this previously for the occasional pimple but then started using this product as a face moisturizer in October of last year and didn't see another pimple. However, I left for a long road trip at the start of the year and had run out of moisturizer so I switched to Cera-Ve. Worst choice ever! I think it's because it has sunscreen on it. Within a couple of weeks of switching, I ended up with 5-6 pimples on my face at once--I think the most I've ever had.

RED AND PEELING
Luckily I brought this spot treatment with me. Using it one or two days in a row worked on some, but there was a persistent one above my left eye that I applied a few times a day for a day or two. I think I wasn't putting enough product on in a single application, you have to coat the area. Because I wasn't using enough each time, I had to prolong my use of this and it did cause my skin to turn red, but the pimple went away. Two days later, with no moisturizer (and I tend to have dryer skin), the skin painlessly peeled/flaked off that small spot and there was no sign of acne there anymore.

A similar thing happened under my right eye where I had a persistent pimple. I applied the product a bit more heavily there and it disappeared within a day or two. There was a bit of redness left behind, and I have somewhat sensitive skin, but the skin just flaked off that little spot too and there is no evidence I had a pimple at all! I still have a few on my chin because I stopped using the product only because the redness it was causing scared me. However, now that I've seen that the peeling is temporary and painless, I will use this again today to get rid of those last few pimples. Great news because I have plans this weekend!

MY ADVICE
Because this product works, I ordered the three-part Advantage system with cleaner, treatment, and moisturizer and it should be in today. Overall, very happy with it, but if you have a stubborn pimple, I would make sure you're fully coating it when you apply this and if you have very sensitive skin, maybe don't apply it two or three times in a row as I did. With that said, my skin did clear within 48 hours and my pimples otherwise may have lingered for a week or more, so what more could you want?

By the way, I didn't notice a fragrance...

Have been using it for just over a week and I feel my skin is brighter and more even toned. I have a large dark spot on my forehead, and it seems to have faded a little bit, so we'll see after I use it longer. Feels good and hasn't any issues with my sensitive skin.

In my opinion, it is even more efficient than the Ambi dark spot remover. Fast results! Saw significant progress even after the first night, even on my darkest freckles.

When I woke up that morning, 7 hours later, I could tell they had lightened. The cream didn't irritate my skin, but be careful when applying on dark spots close to the eyes, as it could cause a bit of stinging when applied on dark spots near the eye lids and sockets. Perhaps best to use right before sleep.

Bought another as a birthday gift for my mother in law because it's so great. Worked on my freckles and some acne scars I had.

I started using this about a month ago and I love it! I have had Melasma for years caused by birth control. And even though I quit taking the pills it didn’t go away. I have used Juice Beauty products almost exclusively for years and they have helped the spots to fade but they are still noticeable so I decided to give this a try.

Within a week I could see a difference. Not only are my dark spots less noticeable, but my skin has also become smoother and softer. I had some redness after application in the beginning but I use this twice a day now and the redness has gone away.

I am so happy with the changes to my skin, and I bought my mom a bottle too for her age spots and she has seen a difference in just a couple of weeks. Have already ordered another bottle for me as I am almost out.

This serum is clear, lightweight, and smells citrusy. It’s hydroquinone-free and did not irritate or dry out my skin. I was amazed to see its effect the very next day and after 14 days, I was happy with the results.
