Good thick texture. I've seen that the dark lines under my eyes have begun to fade after the first week. I am excited to see how the results will look after a month or so. I have had the dark lines under my eyes for over 20 years. If the product continues to work at this same rate, I will have an even complexion again in no time. I am very pleased.

This might be lengthy! But omg this product is AMAZING! I only purchased this a week ago. I don’t really get acne, I am very lucky. But sometimes here and there I do. When I do I pick at them because I am not used to getting pimples and just want them gone ASAP! (I always tell myself I need to stop picking at them but it’s a never ending cycle). This has caused scarring. I am black and have a fair skin tone especially in the winter time. When I scar, they result in dark spots on my face (more noticeable in the winter since I get lighter). I have quite a bit of dark scars on my face at the moment so I purchased this product after reading reviews. I gave it a try and all I can say is WOW! I have used this for a week now. Twice a day (am & pm). I use sunscreen after when I am and use toner before when I use it at pm. My scars have faded drastically! Still there but I’m not expecting for them to be completely gone yet of course! But wow! My dark hyperpigmented scars usually take MONTHS to fade. I was extremely self-conscious about these scars and tried many products and they just weren’t budging. But as soon as I started using this product, they faded fast. Pretty sure by week 2/3 they will be unnoticeable or hopefully completely gone! NOTE: I did not break out using this product whatsoever, but everyone has different skin. Because it works for me doesn’t mean it will work for you. But you won’t know until you try. The beauty of Bioformula products is that it’s so cheap, so when they don’t work for me, I don’t feel bad for spending the money! Just know before purchasing, this product is a tiny bit sticky but it doesn’t bother me at all. If it bothers you due to applying makeup etc, just use it at pm. Has no smell which is a bonus.

If you’re iffy about this product I highly recommend you buy it especially for how cheap it is because even if it doesn’t work for you at least you tried. I wasn’t sure when I was thinking of getting this product and let me tell you it was the best thing I could have done for my face. I’m 16 and have had acne since I was 12 and not just a pimple here and there it was severe acne. My acne finally cleared up, so my dermatologist recommended a bunch of products for scarring over the years. I've tried oils, over the counter, and prescribed products to treat my hyperpigmentation and none have worked until this one. I’m so happy that after all these years and suffering from acne and acne scars that my face is almost scar free and I'm confident enough to go out of the house makeup free. You could never tell I had acne which is crazy because I thought I was at the end of the road and I would just have to live not loving my skin. At first I wasn’t sure the product was working but as time went by I saw DRAMATIC results which took about a month. Don’t just give up on it if you can’t see dramatic results at first because trust me if your patient with it you’ll see the best results

A little about me- I’ve been suffering from melasma for almost 5 years. Cause for it is probably birth control pills, not 100% sure. Had melasma when I miscarried 10+ years ago but hydroquinone cleared that up easily. NOTHING, until Bioformula, has even made a dent. The results? I can tell that it is working!!

Mind you, it’s not entirely gone. If it does go away entirely I will update and change to 5 stars (although honestly, this should probably be a 5-star review considering it is the only thing that has helped). Before Bioformula, you could definitely see the melasma even after using foundation or concealer — covering it up just made it less obnoxious. Now, you can barely tell it’s there with cover up, maybe not at all. And for the first time in years, I sometimes go without foundation/concealer. It’s there, but it’s definitely lighter and I don’t feel self-conscious like I once did.

It’s interesting though- for me, it doesn’t seem like it’s broken up with much scarring or freckle-type pigmentation. I get the little shadow scars from acne that doesn’t even break skin. But that’s not what’s bothered me these last few years. It’s the splotchy, uneven tone of melasma that I’ve hated for so long.

I never wore foundation before melasma and until this, I tried so many different brands, color correctors, you name it. And now to not have to feel like I’m fighting it every day? I might just change my review to five stars!

I am 49 and I have a large dime-sized spot or lentigo on my forehead that I have battled with for years. My hairdresser tries wiping it off at every visit because she always mistakes it for a spot of dye. I wear my hair down at all times so I can hide it. I have spent hundreds of dollars on three separate laser treatments and taken time off from work to heal.

I have tried at least three different lightening serums for $60-$80 each, rubbing them faithfully into my skin for months on end only to not see any improvement at all. Seriously. I have used Retin A. I exfoliate and use a Clarisonic. I have spent a lot of time with many different make-ups, trying to cover it up and look natural at the same time. I never saw any improvement, but I didn't give up. I continued my search for the magic potion that would finally help me get this horrid spot off my face.

I think I read about this product in an article somewhere. I don't even remember. But I read the reviews for this product and I was encouraged, especially by the before and after pictures posted by other verified purchasers. I thought I may as well give it a shot. After all, it was only $24. Well, I have been using this serum every night before bed for three weeks now and I am so surprised and happy with the results that I had to write a review myself.

My spot is still visible-- but the texture, which was always a little rougher than the rest of my skin, is normal now. The spot is fading significantly and is shrinking in size. I am so excited that I finally found something that works. And the rest of my skin looks amazing. My complexion is evening out and clearing up. I am sure that soon I will be able to leave my house without makeup and feel confident that I look like I take care of myself. And that is a great way to look forward to turning 50. If the $800 in laser treatments had worked, I would have thought they were worth the money and the pain. But this product is $24 and works miracles.

I used to go out in the sun a lot without sunscreen and developed these really obvious dark spots on my face and especially prominent around my mouth. It works immediately at exfoliation and over time my dark spots started DISAPPEARING and going back to my normal skin tone!!! I have enough confidence to go to work and go out in the evening without make-up, which is crazy because I used to always wear makeup even if it was just concealer or powder.

The raised marks that are more mole-like in appearance take longer to fade. Despite having acne-prone skin, I haven’t used it on any post-breakout hyperpigmentation. I generally prefer to let those heal/fade on their own. I started using it as a targeted spot treatment rather than on my whole face because it caused a few small breakouts when I used it all over. I think it works well, especially for the price. It has a thick gel-like consistency that goes on a bit sticky but dries down to be unnoticeable. Unfortunately, it stinks or I just really have a sensitive sense of smell. But the results are enough that I’m willing to put up with it. I was consistent with products but nothing would fade my marks.

I decided to look online, which I was pretty skeptical about buying beauty products on, and this has amazing reviews. I read every review, read every question and response, and said, let’s try it! I am beyond words at how happy I was. My routine is, to wash my face with this exfoliator - spot treats my hyperpigmented areas, then vitamin c serum hydrate with a good clean moisturizer.

I highly recommend this product! Try it for 2-3weeks at the very least. I understand everyone's skin is different but this has been the only thing that has worked. Please don’t change anything about it, I love it!

This is the first peeling wash I've purchased. I was somewhat skeptical but totally amazed that this quickly and painlessly removes dead skin. When I gently massaged this in, the dead skin peeled into a noticeable gunk. Didn't irritate my skin. When I got out of the shower, I could see the difference immediately. My skin looked healthier and pores were visibly unclogged--what had been blackheads were open and clear. The results lasted for around 3-4 days and then I repeated the treatment. Not kidding! It's magical for me!

I absolutely love this, my face feels amazing! It is super gentle, not harsh or griddy like some product. It was so gross to see all of the dead skin. I guess my previous exfoliation wasn’t working well at all.
