I've had blackheads since I was 13, and I could never find a product that worked. I tried all the OTC products you can buy. Neutrogena, L'Oreal, Lancome, and even ProActiv. NOTHING worked. I was considering finally going to a Dermatologist and spending even more money to get my skin clear.

That is until I started using the Bio formula. I never used it seriously until my brother's girlfriend, who's a chemist, said I really should. It cleared my skin up within a month of using this Green tea clay mask. I have oily, sensitive skin, and this stuff works. However, my skin still gets oily, I'd rather have that than acne considering I can use powder to fix that or oil blotting sheets. I'm 21 now and my skin is clear. Granted, I still get pimples, but it is only MAYBE 1 or 2 every few MONTHS. I'll take that over what I had before. I've never been so happy. It makes my skin look amazing. I also use their exfoliating scrub and that is also amazing.

Within a couple of weeks, I noticed that my complexion was much clearer. I still have some issues with acne in the forehead area, so I will probably try the spot gel to correct that problem. But overall I am very satisfied with the results from using these products.

This can be very drying (however this is corrected by every other day usage AND the drying effect is probably true of any acne skincare regimen - the point is to reduce the oil in your skin. Other than that I am very happy with these products.

My advice:
- If it seems like it's taking a while to see results, keep using it anyway. Your skin just has to get used to the product.
- If you find it drying, lessen the use. Maybe once a day.

This mask had my skin feeling smoother and more evenly toned after just one use! When used with the rest of the product line for 2 weeks, I saw a noticeable difference in my skin, and now after almost a full month, I don't need to wear foundation anymore.

My oily skin is under control and my adult acne and enlarged blackheads have cleared up and smoothed out! The mask is a thick and buttery feeling that glides onto the skin. You'll feel it tighten while it works. Rinses off clean with just warm water and your fingertips.

I love almost every Bio formula product I try. The only one I wasn't a fan of was the cleanser which was not terrible but too drying for my skin.

I use this mask twice a week and it leaves my skin very soft, evens my tone, and even adds a little glow. It is extremely exfoliating.

There isn't much of a smell; it's not a pretty smell but not revolting either. It feels very natural and goes a long way for the price and quality. I like to purchase different masks whenever I need them but I would buy this again and recommend them for any skin type. My only negative note is that the exfoliating elements make it difficult to rinse off.

I only like to use it before I'm going to shower rather than rinsing off at the sink; it's just hard to get all the little bits rinsed off of your skin

I will continue using it as part of my everyday regimen. Anyone with oily or acne-prone skin should try this mask (and the entire product line) asap!!

I had the MOST TERRIBLE acne. No, I'm not talking about a small tiny excuse of a blemish that your friend with great skin complains about when she has her "bad skin" days. My face was RED and PAINFUL. My cheeks were COVERED all the time, and I had no area on my face where acne wouldn't pop up. Nose, brows, chin, jaw, underneath the jaw, you name it. I had tried Curology and while my skin got amazing for the first 6 months, my acne returned with a VENGEANCE. I had tried so many things, clay masks, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, other AHAs and BHAs, sulfur, rosehip oil, and even supplements like zinc and milk thistle, you name it. Nothing worked at all. I was so so embarrassed of my skin, but I couldn't wear makeup either since makeup made my acne SO MUCH worse.

I heard about stop guessing and I figured "well, might as well give this a try cause it can't get any worse". Boy, I was wrong. It did get worse. Much worse. Suddenly I had SO much more acne and I felt like crap. I couldn't believe my skin could get worse, but it did. stop guessing was the only thing I was using so I knew this was it. I was depressed but I stuck with it, cause I wanted to test it for at least 4 months. I thought I might as well test the claim, since my skin is so bad already.

The first month was really really bad. It brought all underlying acne to the surface i.e. the purge phase. It did the purging for 3-4 months, but the first month was THE WORST. Not gonna lie to you, that first month will probably be the worst skin you've had in your life. Your skin will become SO SENSITIVE! Anticipate that! My skin has never been sensitive to products but while using this, my regular moisturizers and masks would sting like crazy (get stuff with no fragrance/alcohol or acids!). It didn't affect my skin in any other way, it just stung a lot. Oh, and I used to get my upper lip and brows waxed. Not with this you can't, the wax will tear off your skin since it gets much more sensitive. I learned the hard way. ONLY do threading!

However, after I waited out the terrible, terrible first month, I slowly began to see improvements. Marginal, though. I had acne, but I probably had just a tad less. And it continued that way, it kept improving. Eventually, my skin was so much clearer than before! I still had acne, mind you, it's not a miracle drug, but it was few and far in between. There would be times when I had no active acne, which was HUGE for me!! My face usually looked like a connect the dots game. However, I did hit a plateau. This worked phenomenally at reducing my ugly acne all over my face to a few zits here and there, however, my issue was deeper than that.

Now, I am both on my Spiro and this. The combo of these two have made my skin so clear! I could have never imagined this day! I still need to use this, I have noticed my Spiro is not enough to keep zits at bay and if I skip a couple of nights putting on stop guessing, new zits come up. I am so much happier now that I don't have zillions of gross zits on my face. I still get zits if I eat sugar or near my period but man, I am a long way from before! I have a few blemishes left over from before but I honestly don't care, my skin looks way better. I can hide my blemishes with a sheer foundation of spot concealing if I want.

So if you've read till the end, the lesson is: be PATIENT and be realistic! Your acne did not appear overnight and will not disappear overnight. If you stick with this, it WILL work. However, your mileage may vary. My acne was extremely bad, so after I hit my "acne plateau" I went to the doctor. If your acne is not as bad, it's likely stop guessing is all you need for clear skin! If you're on the fence, confused, depressed, frustrated and/or can't afford a doctor, it's worth a shot! Just be patient and gentle with your skin!

I have nasty, super-oily skin--skin that has an oily film by the time I make it to the car in the mornings (and only get worse throughout the day). I have tried every oil-controlling/mattifying skin care product sold online. My skin was so oily I never noticed how large my pores are--the oil masked them. And, it wasn't just my T-zone that was oily, it is my ENTIRE face.

After realizing my skincare regimen just wasn't cutting it, and after extensive research, I decided to give this line a go. It's pretty safe to say, I will NOT be returning this!
I now use their cleanser and moisturizer, and I LOVE IT! After 12-13 work hour work days, my skin has very little sheen at the end (other than my eyelids, which I do not use any of the products).

I have seen a dramatic improvement in my acne (largely caused by my extraordinarily oily skin--acne was concentrated to my oiliest areas).
The only con I have found is now my pores are visible, and they are HUGE! The oil on my face seemed to mask my pores. But I can use a little instant minimizer (by a certain department store brand), and not an issue any longer (and I can live with large pores if it means the oil is contained)!

I will use this at least once a week, and it really helps to soak up some of the oil and debris. When using this, I typically wash and exfoliate in the shower (after spending at least 15 minutes allowing the steam to really open my pores), and as soon as I get out of the shower I slap this on my face. I like to make sure I have a nice, even layer over my entire face. I will then go and do my typical after-shower routine for 15-20 minutes and then remove. It removes with very little effort (or scrubbing/rubbing), as long as I use a warm, wet cloth. I would give the entire line 100 stars, if possible!

My main concern when looking for a mask was that it wouldn't irritate my sensitive skin and remove the blackheads on my nose. I want to point out that I've used this several times and only had an issue with it ONCE, but I think it was MY FAULT.

I accidentally left it on for just a few minutes longer than I was supposed to and my fan was going full blast while pointed at my face. So I think those conditions just overdid the mask. The next day, portions on my face looked irritated, but it was minor.

It looked like I was wearing blush. It was gone the next day. After that experience, I have been more careful in keeping track of the time and not having the fan point directly at my face and I'm happy to report that this mask has been great.

You can start to see a difference after the first use (my face felt soft afterward and the blackheads are gone after 1st week of use). I also want to point out that someone from this team (the company that makes this product) contacted me to check in, which is great as it shows that they are concerned with customer satisfaction. I will be purchasing this again once it runs out.

I love how refreshing this face mask makes my face feel. Not oily after or hard to take off. Just feels like a burst of hydration to my face. Super happy with it. I even convinced my husband to try it and he loved it. Said it's crazy how relaxing it was to have on!!

I like to apply it in the shower because it’s less of a clean up and much easier to remove. Only takes 15 minutes out of your day twice a week, and for the results, that’s a great way to spend your time and money. It feels very smooth and luxurious, too, so if you want that mini-spa experience, this mask is it.
I like to follow up with toner and my favorite moisturizer, as the container says to do. I have oily/combo (oily on cheeks and nose, dry around eyebrows) skin, so this balances out my skin real good. A little goes a long way, so this is bound to last a while; and for $25, this is a steal. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to others!

Package came on time, was nicely sealed and as expected.

I have used it every 3 days now for a total of 15 times. My pores have almost disappeared giving me my 20 year old glowing skin❣️ (I am almost 50) I only had a couple blemishes after first use. No other reaction since. My makeup goes on smooth again with zero lines or cracking. However even without makeup-you can no longer see the pores on my nose or cheeks.

Cons-

A bit difficult to remove from skin. After using 5 times the best procedure for me was to place a hot towel on my face allowing the steam to soften the clay. I repeatedly pressed the towel firmly in small sections until the mask was completely removed. ** make sure to run hot water down the drain for a few minutes once complete to prevent the drain from clogging due to build up.

** My face was slightly red immediately after use but it faded quickly. I think others who complain about redness are new to skin care routine and/or did not take time to prep skin properly before use. If your skin is dry it is important to spend a few days prior to moisturizing. Using moisturizing masks and creams for 1-2 weeks prior to your first use of this mask will help eliminate excessive redness or dryness.

*** This isn’t an all in one miracle in a jar. As with any product you need to invest time into preparing and maintaining your skin!

**** Breakouts should be expected!!!!!! So many reviews complaining that they broke after using the product. The purpose of this product is to remove toxins and buildup from the skin. The breakouts mean it’s working!!! I get facials weekly and anytime I haven’t followed my skincare routine I’ll get a few blemishes after. It is to be expected!!!!!!!! The key is making sure you have proper aftercare products to repair and care for your skin!

This is by far one of the better purifying masks I have used.

Just be honest with yourself about your skin’s expectations. Most importantly know that this is just one step in achieving your goal. Great skin takes time and work!!!!!

This moisturizer literally feels like a splash of water on the skin. I have oily skin, so I really appreciate how light this is and how quickly it sinks in. Works well with my other products and wears well under makeup. I wouldn’t recommend this for dry skin — I’m not sure it would provide enough moisture — but it’s great for my oily skin.

The clay feels really nice, soaks up some oil without drying out my skin, and does give it a brighter sort of look. The moisture it delivers is nice, though. It's not that it's especially intense, but it does seem to deliver the equivalent of a perfume base note, where, when all the superficial stuff has gone, you still have a noticeable level of moisture. I didn't notice this immediately after use, but more as a trend the day after using the mask.
Another tip, don't let this dry on your face. this is definitely a nicer, gentler clay, but you gotta take it easy. The instructions do say take it off in five minutes and that the mask won't dry. I'd argue that if you use less, you will notice it somewhat drying out, but if you start to feel it as tightness on your face, it's time to wash it off. I haven't noticed any ill effects from cutting down the amount I used, either-- I tried thicker layers and thinner layers, and the main difference was in how hard they were to remove, and that the thinner application would start to dry if I lost track of time.
The price is a bit much if you use a lot of it at once-- I don't think I'd buy it again in that case, but because I can stretch it out, and because it delivers that deeper cleansing, I think I'll buy it again.
I noticed a lot of people saying that the mask has a really strong, amazing smell. I can't say I agree. It does smell good, but it doesn't smell half as powerful as reviews made me expect. It also smells nice-- like vanilla cake-- but not enough to give me cravings. My nose is fine, so maybe there are some batches that are stronger, or maybe those people are smelling something I'm not due to some genetic difference. Hey, it's possible.
Anyway, I expect I'll buy this again when it starts to run low.

I notice more radiance since using it and it feels like a treat to use from the scent. A + in my book, its products like this that makes me keep falling in love with Bioformula.

It removed my blackheads without damaging my skin! For background, I have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I used to have serious red hyperpigmentation from a mixture of fungal acne and hormonal acne. I'm still dealing with the aftermath of that month-long breakout -- all the while still combating new acne (it's a journey). Although it alone does not fix my acne problems, it does what it claims to do and saves my face on several occasions.

This product is great for:
1) Clearing out blackheads on the nose and t-zone. I leave it on for about 20 mins then wash it off.
2) Minimize the appearance of tiny bumps on the forehead (fungal acne).
3) Emerging pimple. You can feel it as a red bump under the skin. It's about to come out to the surface as a whitehead and it might be painful, and you know that if you leave it alone for 3 days, it will and it will take a week more to disappear. Applying this on as a spot treatment at night helps speed things along without aggravating it.

I have two right now. One small one on the corner of my lips. Embarrassing place. And another on my forehead, which, if I leave alone, will surely turn into painful cystic acne. I popped this on last night, washed it off in the morning, and applied it again during the day while I'm inside the house. I noticed that the bump has flattened out a bit. The trick is to *not touch it*

More often than not, I'm using this product as a spot treatment at night. I rarely put it all over my face unless I've been sweating a lot or in a humid place (clogged pores).

I love it. I can't live without it. I bought 2 jars already. I have had it for about 3 months now and I only finished with the first jar

This product was a pleasant surprise! I have been looking for a green tea mask that would clear out my pores, blackheads and sebaceous glands. The ones that work are so expensive and I was beginning to doubt I would ever find something reasonably priced that would do the job.
This product was recommended to me and I had to try it. First of all, it’s a mask on a stick. I thought it would use half the stick for each application, but it slides on super nice and the stick held its shape and wasn’t goopy or hard to keep neat.

The product went on quite a bit thinner than I expected, but worked amazingly! A little tingle, a little pulsing sensation, then a nice little grit to exfoliate as I scrubbed it off… It really gives a nice experience! I have very finicky skin and this didn’t make me break out and WOW, talk about soft and smooth skin after one use.

Previous stick masks my skin needed to be damp beforehand and it was always difficult to get an even spread without tugging on the skin. With this mask your skin can be dry and it spreads easily, almost like a lotion. After 10 mins of drying my skin was noticeably softer and smooth. It glides on so easily and doesn’t feel cakey at all while drying! The removal was effortless. Wipe off with a warm washcloth so clean and no residual left behind. It’s silky smoothe and left my skin feeling baby soft! A plus is the size, which makes it easy to pack on trips..etc. HIGHLY recommend it!
